Animation, puppetry and Shakespeare’s verse come together to bring you the bizarre love story of a spoilt brat, a hopeless romantic, a gold-digging teapot, and two unfortunate hobbyhorses.
When Helena, a poor physician’s daughter, bargains for a husband in return for helping the ailing King, she thinks she’s won her childhood sweetheart’s hand in marriage. Her love Bertram, however, runs off to war, leaving her heart-broken. She immediately sets off after him, but upon meeting the one person who could bring them back together, will she take the plunge?
All’s Well That Ends Well explores what it means to be in love, when it’s time to grow up, and whether the end really justifies the means.
“The web of our life is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together…”
At times heart-breaking, bittersweet, and laugh-out-loud funny, this show will change the way you feel about love – and Shakespeare.
