"As a visitor to Perth who likes to see live theatre, this was a terrific show in a great venue. The versatility and impact of the acting and its closeness was most appreciated."
Zen's Red Mouth audience member, July 2007

"Loved the show, I always enjoy the performances at The Blue Room. Artsy atmosphere, but not pretentious, cutting edge performances. Never boring"

In the cellar of a house in a Greek village, an old woman whispers to herself as she weaves on her loom. In Australia, her grandson tries to understand his life as he unravels the family stories passed down to him. Growing up with memories that don't make sense, he makes a journey back to Greece. Along the way, he uncovers the darkness of his family's past.
What does home mean? And where does he really belong?

"Memories. Memories I can't place...This constant strange feeling of the familiar, as if I have lived before. Knowing the tune but what are the words?"

Fresh from performances in Melbourne and the 2006 Adelaide Fringe Festival, Looming the Memory is a one-man journey into myth and identity where 15 characters including a chicken are brought to life in an honest, often comic 60 minutes of powerful story telling and physical theatre.
