Lou-Lou wonders how her life got to be so dull. One afternoon, at her desk, she remembers that it wasn't always that way. Once upon a time, she was an up and coming super-hero, with a loveable, furry sidekick, a hot costume and a bright future ahead of her. So how did she end up with a dreary office job, a dull boyfriend and a wardrobe full of beige?

Lou-Lou takes us on a journey through her former life, a world of glorious battles and facinating characters - but even the most exciting lives are filled with questions and insecurities:

"Should I hide my mutant super-powers to attract a boy? What happens when your Arch-Enemy has a crush on you? And does the 'undies on the outside' look work at the office?"

Accompanied by musician Brodie Caporn, writer/performer Rebecca Church presents a high-energy show featuring one-woman fight sequences, cheeky burlesque routines and a rockin' theme tune. On the Outside is a funny, touching tale of adventure and self-discovery for everyone who watched too many cartoons in the '80s.
