King Xerxes has taken the entire Persian army to conquer the Greeks. No one has heard from them since…
The newest translation of the oldest surviving play in history, Persians is an epic tale of despair and defeat in the face of certain victory.
When everything you love has been crushed, how do you even begin to grieve?
Featuring a chorus of beautiful women, Persians is the story of the love of those left behind, of rashness, passion, and forgiveness.
In the world premiere of this brand new translation by Aaron Poochigian, Little Daggers - a collaboration between Happy Dagger Theatre (Oleanna) and Little y Theatre Co. (Scent Tales) - present a high-energy, physical performance about the hubris before battle, the fog of war, and the what becomes of those left behind.
