Brad Hearne is Deaf Brad_Hearne.jpgDefying

9:30pm Thursday 19 - Saturday 21 May

AUSLAN interpreted 21 May only

In Brad Hearne's debut solo show, this emerging Perth comedian will open up about the trials, traumas and tribulations of being partially deaf in a hearing world.
“It's tough growing up partially deaf. When I was a kid I even had to ask my imaginary friends to repeat themselves.”
In his own unique self-deprecating, analytical style and the occasional song, Brad recalls tales of police chases, road trips and explains why plans for a deaf genocide just simply won't work.

When there is no choice between life and deaf it helps to have your wits about you. Be Deaf Defying.
